Murals of Ajijic

Artist Jesus Lopez Vega has painted many of the murals seen in the Ajijic area. His style is distinctive, combining Mexican magical surrealism with folkloric images. Jesus Lopez Vega has exhibited in galleries throughout Mexico and has many works in private collections.

Jesus Lopez Vega was a participant in Neill James’ children’s art program, and has spent time teaching in volunteer capacity at the Children’s Art Program at the Lake Chapala Society in Ajijic.
